Our Story

Hi, I'm Sibra Fatima, the founder of Crochet Womania.

My journey with crochet began unexpectedly. At 19, I was at a point in my life where I wanted to build something of my own, become independent, and create a future I could truly be proud of. I never planned on starting a crochet business—in fact, I discovered crocheting almost by accident.

But what started as simple curiosity quickly became something I genuinely loved. There was something incredibly fulfilling about turning a strand of yarn into something beautiful with my own hands. The more I created, the more I realized that this wasn't just another hobby. It was something I could see myself doing for years without losing the excitement and joy it gave me.

I began by making a few pieces for myself, experimenting with different ideas and slowly improving my craft. Once I felt confident enough to share my work with others, I created an Instagram account.

That small decision changed everything.

What began as a personal creative outlet gradually grew into something much bigger than I had imagined. People began discovering my work, appreciating the time and care behind each piece, and placing their trust in me to create something special for them. My little hobby was becoming a real business—and, more importantly, a path toward the independence I had been searching for.

And that is how Crochet Womania was founded in 2026.

It may feel like the very beginning right now, but that makes this chapter even more meaningful. I hope that years from now, I'll look back at 2026 and remember it as the year I took a chance on something I loved—and turned it into something I'm proud to call my own.

This is only the beginning of Crochet Womania's story, and I'm so grateful to everyone who chooses to be a part of it.
